Western and Eastern Canadian Tours
Nick had the privilege of hitting the road acoustically with a couple of really great Prairie acts. Colter Wall (Swift Current,SK) and I played some really great shows in Ontario and Quebec. They were a great time and we had some great shows!
A week after the end of that tour, we had a really great EP release show at The Artesian in Regina with our buds in Bears in Hazenmore (Regina, SK). It was a really great evening, and we played some other shows in Manitoba and Alberta with Eagle Lake Owls (Winnipeg, MB), who are one of my favourite up and coming bands in Canada. Those shows were also great, but left Nick pretty dang tired after a whirlwind four months of recording and preparation!
We really, really appreciated the financial help of Creative Saskatchewan in helping make those dates possible. Thanks a million! below are some photos from the shows!
Lambswool EP - Available online!
So "Lambswool EP" is officially available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc, etc. "Wild Bones" has also been getting some campus, commercial, and CBC airplay, which is great! Thanks to everyone for the support, and make sure you head over to our MUSIC page and buy our songs plz :)
Summer Plans and Beyond
We've been fortunate to have been selected to play a few of our favourite festivals. We'll be playing FULL BAND sets at the Long Days Night Music Festival in Swift Current with The Matinee on Sunday, June 26 and we'll be performing at Regina Folk Festival in Regina on August 5-7, 2016. We are SO PUMPED for these shows, and we're gonna be in some great company so come hang out!
We plan to take it easy with shows over the summer, as we prepare to head into the studio to use our Rawlco 10K20 grant to record our next album this autumn. Can't wait to share details about that in the future :)
